Legacy Gallery connects buyers with sellers, providing unique auction opportunities for 20th and 21st-century furnishings. You can browse our extensive catalogue, add items to your cart, bid in ongoing auctions, and complete purchases securely through our platform. We facilitate the transaction and provide support throughout the buying process.
Account and Registration

How do I create an account?

To create an account, click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of our homepage. Fill in the required information, including your name, email address, and password. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Enter your registered email address, and we will send you instructions to reset your password.

How do I search for items?

Use the search bar at the top of our homepage to find items. Enter keywords related to the item you’re seeking, such as "Eames chair" or "mid-century modern lamp." You can also use filters to refine your search by category, price, designer, and more.

How can I refine my search results?

Use the filters on the left side of the search results page to narrow your search. Filter by category, price range, condition, designer, period, and other criteria to find exactly what you’re looking for.

What if I can't find a specific item?

If you’re searching for a specific item and can’t find it, try using alternative keywords or check back later, as our inventory is updated regularly. You can also contact our support team for assistance.

How do I get more details about a product?

Click on the product image or title to view the product details page, where you’ll find comprehensive information about the item, including dimensions, materials, condition, designer, and additional photos.

Are the product descriptions accurate?

We strive to provide accurate and detailed product descriptions. Our sellers are required to give honest and precise information about their items. However, if you have any questions or need more information, you can contact the seller directly via the product page.

Can I see items in person before purchasing?

Legacy Gallery is an online marketplace, so we do not have physical showrooms at present. However, many sellers provide detailed photos and descriptions. If you need additional information or photos, feel free to contact the seller directly.
Shipping and Delivery

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping costs are based on the size, weight, and destination of the item and are shown on the product details page. During checkout, the total shipping cost will be displayed.

Can I track my order?

Tracking depends on the shipping method used. Once your item has shipped, you’ll receive a notification via email. You can also find tracking information in your account under "Order History."
RETURNS AND REFUNDS

What is the return policy?

Customers may return items within 14 days of receiving their order. To initiate a return, please follow these simple steps: • Send us an email at returns@legacy-gallery.com to tell us that you wish to return your purchase. For speediest processing, please include your name, telephone number, order number, and, where applicable, photographs documenting the damage or error. • Once your request is received and approved by our Customer Service team, we will send you a printable shipping label (for smaller items) and a telephone number for DHL. Once you have packed the item please call DHL and schedule a convenient pick-up time. For larger/fragile items we will arrange a pick-up time with you and our logistics partner. Please remember we need the best telephone number to reach you to arrange the pick-up. • Refunds will be processed after the goods have been received by the dealer of origin. You are responsible for safely packing and shipping the item back to the dealer. Each returned item must be received in original condition. We reserve the right to deduct for any damage that may have occurred after an item was delivered to the buyer. If you return your order with DHL, you need to ship the item back no later than 14 days after receiving the shipping label in order to be eligible for a refund. You will have to pay for return shipping unless we verify that the item arrived damaged or that the item’s listing was inaccurate or misleading. Eligibility for Returns: Items must be in their original condition and packaging, without signs of wear or damage. Custom or personalised items, as well as items marked as "final sale," are not eligible for return.

How do I initiate a return?

To initiate a return, send us an email at returns@legacy-gallery.com. For speediest processing, please include your name, telephone number, order number, and, where applicable, photographs documenting the damage or error.

Return Process: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or not as described.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive the returned item. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive an item that is damaged or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Exchanges: We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
