Harry Bertoia’s Diamond Chair, introduced in 1952, is a masterpiece of mid-century design. Crafted from welded steel rods, the chair’s open, airy structure gives the illusion of floating space, earning it the nickname “sitting on air.” Bertoia, a trained sculptor, was known for his obsession with metal and designed the chair to combine strength and elegance. This rare versions of the Diamond Chair come with a matching footstool.
