The Airport 037 chair impresses with its unique and absolutely timeless design. This chair is in very good condition. The black original artificial leather is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. The chrome frame has a patina typical of its age. Due to the lines of the armrests, the chair is also known as the bullhorn chair.

Hans Kaufeld founded his factory in Bielefeld in 1918 and concentrated on the production of high-quality furniture with an attractive design. In the 1960s, Kaufeld also supplied the Chancellor's Office with its armchairs. The Airport 037 was designed for Kaufeld in the 1960s by the English designer Geoffrey Harcourt. Harcourt is known for several icons of the Space Age.
