Modular Amanta 24 Sofa by Mario Bellini, 1970s

The Amanta 24 modular sofa, designed by Mario Bellini in 1966 and produced by C&B Italia (later B&B Italia), is a standout piece of mid-century modern furniture. This set of four modules features a striking blue upholstery and off-white fiberlite frames, which became a defining characteristic of Bellini’s work.
The Amanta 24 is an updated version of the original Amanta system and was introduced in 1975. This version has smaller dimensions, measuring 60 cm x 70 cm x 70 cm. Unlike the first generation, the Amanta 24 does not have a central slot and efficiently utilizes only two flat cushions per module instead of three, providing a sleek, modern look.
