The Bamba Sideboard

The bamba sideboard is designed and finely crafted in France using traditional techniques. The local ash wood, with its darker "olive" hues, features a beautiful grain pattern on the front. The drawer fronts were made from a single plank, each element integrating harmoniously along the length of the sideboard. Reused forest green fabric from the French fashion industry was used to line the drawers, with traditional wooden glide mechanisms. The framed doors are reinforced by fine spindles overlooking handmade antique glass with a semi-transparent moss-green effect. Subtly tapered brushed brass handles provide easy access to storage areas. The sideboard rests on a fine wood frame that reflects the angles to offer a balanced form. The wood has been treated with a transparent matte hard wax, naturally enhancing the wood's colors and protecting it from stains. This item can be made to measure using ash, oak or walnut.
